A former instructor at the Musicians Institute, John has played with such music greats as Tim Bogert (Vanilla Fudge) and Dave Sutton (Lucinda Williams, Melissa Ethridge), and brings that wealth of experience (and a toothbrush) with him wherever he plays.

John sings and handles guitar, piano, and saxaphone, aided and abetted by his "friends": Ed (The SpoonMan) Terry on spoons, Jim Van Booven on bass and Tara Sitser on percussion, keyboards and "Katy, Bar the Door" vocals. Together they offer an eclectic and rollicking blend of hoppin' boppin' acoustic-driven rock'n'roll -- imagine Buddy Holly backed by the Lovin' Spoonful, with a little bit o' soul tossed in, just in case.
