ONE-TWO-THREE-FOUR!

We're very proud of some of the acts we've presented at Butlers, and it ain't over yet. We're currently offering two nights of music a week.

Tuesdays are our Tuesday Night Music Clubs, wherein we present three acts, each playing a short set. This is the perfect place to catch rising stars and get a real taste of the local music scene. Many of our performers on our Tuesday nights have moved on to play our showcases on Saturdays.

Saturdays, meanwhile, will be our Showcase Nights, featuring one or two acts performing longer sets.

Had dinner already? Just caught a flick? Why not drop by Butlers, have a coffee and catch a little music?

We also plan to offer a Sunday Morning Brunch shortly.

All acts will be announced on our Calendar page. All evening shows will start at seven P.M.

LOCAL MUSICIANS WANTED

Tyler GoucherWe're always looking for local, acoustic-based musicians and singer-songwriters interested in honing their skills before a live audience.

After the encouraging success of Butlers' music program in our former Simi Valley location, it's a no-brainer. We're going to continue our music program in our new Palmdale location.

Naturally, we're looking at bringing back our very popular Sunday Morning Brunch Programme, as well as BUTLERS SHOWCASES on Saturday nights and SEMI-OPEN MIKE nights, consisting of mini-sets from three or four acts on Tuesday evenings.

Folk, jazz, rock, soul, pop, blues... we're seeking to offer an eclectic but welcoming coffeehouse atmosphere, something currently sorely lacking in the Antelope Valley.

There won't be a mosh pit, smoke bombs, forty-three-piece choreographed dance troupes or ear-bleeding volume at the new Butler's -- just good, honest music you can wrap your ears around, while savouring a good, honest cup of coffee.

Naturally, there are a few basic ground rules but if you're a local musician or singer-songwriter interested in performing both original music and well-chosen covers, please fill out and mail (or just drop off) an application and a demo CD or cassette if available (or an e-mail link to available music) to:
