Guitarist Mark Burgess plays it all -- from bluesey slide to loosely structed electronica that incorporates improv, found sounds, historic speeches and elements of a number of styles of music.

Mark studied classical guitar at The American Institute of Guitar in New York City, jazz guitar at Mason Gross School of the Arts, and privately with Robert Fripp of King Crimson. This diverse background gives him a unique style and perspective on the instrument which is sure to yield moments of surprise and terror.

He was a star of our Palmdale Noir murder night last summer and is often seen at Butler's aiding and abetting his musical partner-in-crime Bill James. He's also recently been drafted into the Laura Browne-Sorenson army, as part of BYOB (Bring Your Own Boys).
