Actor/singer/songwriter Elle Carpenter crafts quirky pop songs that bring to mind -- at least to these jaded old ears -- early eighties power pop. Originally hailing from Vermont (but better looking than Ben AND Jerry put together!), Elle grew up "touring around the country with four siblings and her mother, performing and doing workshops at folk festivals. As she grew up she branched off more towards rock and pop but will always hold folk very close to her heart -- listen closely and you can hear echoes of everyone from Liz Phair to Dar Williams.

Alone with her guitar she sings gently - with her band she ROCKS OUT! Recently she's released a couple of great new songs on iTunes.
