ELAYNA

"...a stunning, fiery album, as thrilling and exotic as a Gypsy dance."
-- AMG Music Guide, on
Gypsy People

Originally part of the late sixties cult-fave folk duo Jan and Lorraine (responsible for the acclaimed album "Gypsy People"), Elayna Lorraine LeFevre is now semi-retired from the music biz and living in Juniper Hills, but still teaches guitar and occasionally plays live, offering a heady brew of fiercely passionate and literate originals and sharply chosen covers from all decades.

Elayna considers herself just an "old hippie," but anyone who's seen her perform such fiery originals as "Five-Star General" knows there just may be a bit of punk rage in there as well. Smart folk for smart people!

Albums: "Gypsy People" (1969; as Jan and Lorraine), "Things Seen and Unseen" (1998)
Kevin's Picks to Click: "Five-Star General," "Imagine," "Break Out the Wine," "Angel from Montgomery," "Stand By Me," "Hello in There"

And Don't Miss: Elayna on her very own YouTube Channel!
