DSP was founded a few years ago to produce an annual music festival in the Antelope Valley It happened twice, but has not yet gained enough momentum to make it a self-sustaining event. In the meantime, their head honcho, Wayne Slater-Lunsford, maintains a Yahoo group that provides a Yahoo group that allows individual members to keep in touch with what's happening in acoustic and amateur music events in the Antelope Valley and L.A basin.

They also co-present a monthy showcase and Open Mike at Butler's the third Friday of every month.
