CAN YOU DIG THE NEW BREED?

Josh Blatt & The Other Guys
(Josh is fine, but you should see the other guy)

Lang Station
(a Brighter Side of Blue)Not that

Anyone who thinks the "music isn't as good as it used to be" probably stopped listening the first time McCartney was declared dead. Sorry, but these young pups play with a passion and a sense of pure joy a lot of venerated "superstars" left behind in the limo years ago.

Not that Josh Blatt and the Other Guys or Lang Station don't know and respect where the music came from -- it's just that they also have a clue where it's going.

Heck, Josh and the Other Guys have put together a "Tour of the Decades" because they really like 'doing the oldies." Josh promises music ranging from around the 60's on up and adds it should be "a ton of fun and quite entertaining to watch."

And then our old pals Ellie and Emma, those multi-talented sisters from a Bright Side of Blue, return with a brand new band and a brand new thing.

Lang Station is an indie/alternative/rootsy kinda band from Santa Clarita that draw inspiration from everyone from Elvis and Johnny Cash to Death Cab for Cutie, Ed Sheeran and The Civil Wars. Ellie and Emma play guitar, cello, cajon, and bass guitar, and are joined on vocals by the smooth yet gritty voice of Casey on lead vocals, guitar, and violin and the lovely sounds of Sarah on vocals and guitar.
