Dang, while I'm at it, I better mention that tonight is COMEDY NIGHT at Butler's!!!
Those precious palookas of pratfalls, those valiant benders of entendres, those impulsive Yetis of yuks, that troupe that dare not speak its name, ON IMPROV will be taking the stage tonight with completely unscripted attacks on your funny bone (and selected other parts of your anatomy).
Sure, in his defence ON Improv pooh bah Jeff Maki claims all ON Improv really does is perform "a live, unscripted comedy show live that is made up on the spot. No two shows are ever alike. Our show is similar to 'Who's Line is it Anyway' and 'Improvaganza.'"
But he would say that, right? WOULDN'T HE?
All I'm saying is that someone should definitely keep an eyes on these guys -- and maybe it should be you.
The show starts at seven and only the first three thousand people get in free. Bring your own talcum powder. ON Improv. Now with extra fiber!
