Ann-Marita's music is as diverse as her Norwegian/Swedish/American/Australian background; mixing up down home country twang, ballsy rock'n'roll, swampy blues, and just about everything in between. Since her 2004 debut album, she's shown that her version of country music is a force to be reckoned with, having nabbed rave reviews around the world, getting airplay on more than 200 radio stations worldwide, and grabbing two Victorian Country Music Awards nominations (Australia), a Top 20 Finalist spot in the Unisong International Songwriting Contest, a Top 10 Finalist spot in the 2005 MusicOz Awards, a Sonicbids-sponsored trip to Berlin to perform at the 2006 Popkomm Festival and being a runner-up in the 2007 Singer/songwriter Awards. She's also played showcases at Canadian Music Week in Toronto and South By Southwest in Austin, Texas.
